On Wednesday, 15th of November, 2017, the Indonesian Sharia Insurance Association (Asosiasi Asuransi Syariah Indonesia/AASI) and supported by the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) organized a National Seminar with the theme as follows: Market Outlook Spin Off Insurance Sharia Business Unit for Insurance Companies in the run up to Road Map 2020.
The event itself was held at Millenium Hotel, Central Jakarta, with Keynote Speaker from the Board of Commissioners of OJK or OJK’s Chief Executive of Non-Bank Financial Industry (Industri Keuangan Non-Bank/IKNB), and panel discussion speaker, Director of OJK’s IKNB Sharia, National Sharia Council (Dewan Syariah Nasional/DSN), Indonesian Council of Ulama (Majelis Ulama Indonesia/MUI) and Spin Off Practitioners.
